Empowering Women and Building Community: An Inspiring Journey with She’s More Society

From the very beginning, Trecia has been a champion for women. Just like me, she is part of the girls' girl tribe—always celebrating every win, cheering for others even when they couldn’t find the strength to clap for themselves. Her passion for uplifting women and fostering sisterhood led her to establish She's More Society, an empowering community designed to help minority women embrace their strength and potential.

Finding Her Purpose & Creating a Movement

Her journey to empowerment started with a natural inclination to support and uplift those around her. Though she struggled with insecurity in her younger years, she always had a spark that set her apart. That spark ignited even brighter when witnessing the accomplishments of her friends and loved ones. This realization led her to establish She's More Society—a space for women to grow, embrace their power, and support one another.

She immediately connected with Pretty&Ghetto’s mission because she shares the belief that sisterhood and supporting minority women is not just a moment—it’s a movement. She wants women to know they are more than their circumstances, hardships, or any label society may place upon them.

Empowerment & Sisterhood

For Trecia, empowerment means strength, confidence, and community. It’s about creating environments where women can be themselves—boldly and unapologetically. She embodies this daily by leading with love, embracing her authenticity, and setting an example for others.

“My work is a reflection of my own growth—a mission to uplift, inspire, and empower others as I continue to evolve.”

Being part of a strong, uplifting community is invaluable to her. There’s nothing like the camaraderie of women who truly understand one another and strive to uplift each other. “There’s no one who gets us like we get us, and when we come together, it’s a beautiful thing.”

Balancing Career & Passion

By day, Trecia is an Information Technology (IT) professional in a male-dominated field, proving that women can excel in any industry they set their minds to. Being a #WomanInSTEM for nearly two decades has given her firsthand experience in breaking barriers and defying stereotypes. This experience played a significant role in inspiring She's More Society.

For women looking to start their own business or make career changes, Trecia offers this advice: be bold, strategic, and intentional. Believe in yourself and embrace your unique path. “Your journey is your own—don’t compare it to anyone else’s. Stay focused, stay committed, and never give up.”

Overcoming Challenges & Lessons Learned

She acknowledges the challenges of being a young, Black, intelligent woman in a male-dominated field. But her unwavering faith and strong sense of self have helped her navigate obstacles with confidence. “I’m not here by accident, and my success isn’t a mistake. Knowing who I am and believing in my abilities has always been my anchor.”

The biggest lesson she has learned is to stay true to herself. Trends and societal expectations may change, but remaining authentic is what truly matters. “If I lost it all, would I still be proud of who I am? That’s the question I always keep in mind

Looking Ahead: The Future of She Is More Society

n the next five years, She envisions a future where happiness and success are defined on her own terms. She sees She's More Society growing into a thriving community that creates endless opportunities for women. She also hopes to continue making an impact in the IT field, inspiring young Black women to pursue careers in STEM. One of her most exciting goals is expanding She's More Society into a powerful sisterhood that uplifts women both locally and online. “I feel like I’m just getting started, and the best is yet to come.”

Beyond her work, Trecia has a surprising passion—fishing! She enjoys spending time by the water, a cherished pastime she shares with her father. She also unwinds through music, reading, and, of course, more music! “There’s a song for everything,”
